Dr. Sarnoff is a clinical professor of dermatology at New York University Medical Center and vice president of The Skin Cancer Foundation. Alan R. Shalita, MD, is Distinguished Teaching Professor and Chairman, Department of Dermatology, at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is Chief of Dermatology at both State University Hospital and Kings County Hospital Center, and is a Consultant in Dermatology Services at Brooklyn VA Hospital. Dr. Shalita received his medical degree from Bowman Gray School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He completed his residency in dermatology at NYU Medical Center.

Dr. Shalita has served as president of the American Dermatological Association and of the Association of Professors of Dermatology. Susan H. Weinkle, MD is board certified in dermatology. She is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Weinkle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 1978 and completed her residency in dermatology at Stanford University Hospital Center in 1982, where she held the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Weinkle has been in solo private practice since 1984, specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She has held academic appointments at Stanford University Hospital, the University of California Irvine Medical Center and most recently at the University of South Florida. Dr. Kircik is a board certified dermatologist who graduated with AOA Honors from State University of New York at the Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn after completing his undergraduate work with Phi Beta Kappa at New York University. Dr. Amy Forman Taub founded Advanced Dermatology, a state-of-the-art center of cosmetic excellence, photodynamic therapy, skin cancer detection and treatment, and general dermatology, in 2002. Dr. Andrew F. Alexis is the Director of the Skin of Color Center at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. After receiving her master’s degree in microbiology from Boston University, Dr. Baldwin spent two years in clinical research in John David’s immunoparisitology laboratory at Harvard Medical School before returning to Boston University for her medical training. She completed a medical internship at Yale New Haven Hospital and then returned to her roots for her dermatology residency and chief residency at New York University Hospital.

Since finishing her residency and obtaining her board certification, she joined the faculty at the State University of New York at Brooklyn. She is currently an Associate Professor and the Vice Chair of the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Martin Braun graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1984 after gaining early admission to the Faculty of Medicine. (He lost the run off for the Rhodes Scholarship, and being 2nd really doesn't count much in this world!). He subsequently completed his core training in surgery at UBC and decided to enter the field of emergency medicine rather than surgery. He is board certified in both emergency medicine and family practice.

Adam Friedman, MD is Director of Dermatologic Research and Clinical Instructor at the Unified Division of Dermatology of Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Mary H. Lien, MD grew up in southern California and received her Bachelor of Science degreefrom the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She completed her medical education at the Duke University School of Medicine, where she received her Doctor of Medicine degree. She performed her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Lien completed her dermatology residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center, as well as a melanoma fellowship at the University of Michigan Multidisciplinary Melanoma Clinic.

Dr. Mary Lien is the Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of South Florida and is a faculty dermatologist in the Division of Cutaneous Oncology at the H. Joel Schlessinger M.D. is the president emeritus of the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery and is the past president of the Nebraska Dermatology Society. Hema Sundaram, M.D., F.A.A.D. is a Board Certified dermatologist, and the founder and director of her cosmetic surgery practice in suburban Washington, D.C. Her subsequent training includes a dermatology residency at the University of Chicago, post-doctoral research in molecular biology, and a post-residency medical staff research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health during which she served as a Lieutenant and Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Public Health Service. Dr. Sundaram has received several awards for her clinical and research work during her training.

Dr. Sundaram maintains an active involvement in medical research and education. She serves as a Principal Investigator for FDA studies and as a chair or steering faculty for CME initiatives. She is a physician preceptor for cosmetic and laser technologies, and teaches at dermatology and plastic surgery conferences. Dr. Sundaram serves as an advisor to Medscape (the physician education portal of WebMD), the Dermatology Education Initiative, and The HealthCentral Network online. She is the Cosmetic Surgery Editor of Practical Dermatology (for which she writes the column, "Cosmetics Challenge"), an editorial advisor to other journals including Medesthetics, and the author of a book, Face Value: The Truth About Beauty - and a Guilt-Free Guide To Finding It [Rodale], which was honored by the National Press Club.

Dr. Sundaram appears on national television and radio, including regular contributions to CBS affiliates and XM/Sirius Radio. She is a medical advisor to Fitness magazine, and is quoted in publications ranging from The New York Times and USA Today to Good Housekeeping, Allure and Cosmopolitan. Dr. Sundaram's practice is noted for its regular donations to charitable and patient support organizations.

Dr. Amy Forman Taub founded Advanced Dermatology, a state-of-the-art center of cosmetic excellence, photodynamic therapy, skin cancer detection and treatment, and general dermatology, in 2002. Dr. Taub is also a clinical instructor at Northwestern University Medical School (where she teaches a monthly cosmetic surgery clinic for residents), as well as a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine, Chicago Dermatologic Society, Illinois State Dermatologic Society, the Leader’s Society of the Dermatology Foundation, and the Skin Cancer Foundation. She is a pioneer in photodynamic therapy as well as a frequent lecturer and author on the national scene. She founded the website Skinfo.com in 2000 which gets over 4,000 unique visitors every month and is devoted to rational information-based selection of cosmeceutical skin care products. In 2005 she founded SKINQRI, an organization dedicated to advanced research in dermatology.

Guy Webster received a PhD and an MD from the University of Pennsylvania and trained in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine. He is currently Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr Webster’s research interests include acne, rosacea, atopy and psoriasis. He is the author of over 100 publications focusing mostly on inflammatory and infectious skin diseases.

Susan H. Weinkle, MD is board certified in dermatology. She is a fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology and a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Weinkle graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 1978 and completed her residency in dermatology at Stanford University Hospital Center in 1982, where she held the position of Chief Resident. Dr. Weinkle has been in solo private practice since 1984, specializing in Mohs micrographic surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She has held academic appointments at Stanford University Hospital, the University of California Irvine Medical Center and most recently at the University of South Florida. Dr. Weinkle also serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a medical editor for the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology.
