2025 ODAC ARTE Scholarships for Dermatology Residents

The Advanced Resident Training & Education (ARTE) program supports resident education and provides real-world training through attendance at ODAC. ARTE offers educational and networking activities with an acute focus on the most important issues facing residents today. The medical education is not only relevant and cutting edge, but the network of personal and professional support is an invaluable investment in each scholar’s education, career and personal growth.

Scholarship Inclusions

The ARTE Scholarship includes:

  • Complimentary conference registration
  • 3 nights shared/double occupancy hotel accommodations, checking in Friday, January 17, 2025, and checking out Monday, January 20, 2025. (roommates will be assigned) Single rooms are available upon request and will incur a nightly room charge of $164.50 nightly plus applicable taxes and fees with the ARTE Scholarship covering the other half of the room. Please note that if you check in late, or check out early without prior approval, you will be charged the full cost of $329 per night plus applicable taxes and fees.
  • Breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks as listed in the conference agenda

ARTE Scholar Committment

As an ARTE Scholar you are required to participate in all general sessions and workshops designated for scholars beginning Friday, January, 17, 2025 at 3:15 PM ET through Monday, January 20, 2025 at 12:45 PM ET. If you do plan on arriving on Thursday, January 16, 2025, you will be responsible for the additional hotel night fee. Upon check-in to the conference, you will receive information on required workshops and will be scanned into all sessions to verify attendance.

Failure to meet the full attendance requirement as stated above will result in forfeiture of your scholarship, reimbursement to ODAC for your hotel room costs, and disqualification for all conference awards and prizes.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CANCELLATION: You must cancel by Friday, November 29, 2024. If you cancel after November 29th you will be responsible for a $329 charge to offset your hotel room costs.

Qualifications

To receive the ARTE scholarship, applicants must be a US resident in good standing with their program.

You must also include a letter on your school’s letterhead verifying you are a dermatology resident in good standing from your chairman or program director.

Selection Criteria

Following the application deadline, all materials will be submitted to a committee for review and selection. Demographic information will not be considered in the selection process.
